Why when im hooked up to my router my internet cuts off on World of Warcraft?

When ever I play world of warcraft my internet just stops working when im connected through a router (wired) but when i change it to direct modem connection it works perfectly fine. Anyone have any idea what i need to change in the router settings or whats the problem?

ok well u can re-install ur router and see if that works. or just buy a new one. not sure of any other possibilities
