Did George Bush rally the world to a war where 27 million human beings were liberated from brutal repression?

Did his opposition party try pushing him to surrender and withdraw when terrorists began trying to provoke a civil war? Did they claim they were tricked and deceived? Did Bush exercise enormous leadership by staying the course and defeating Al Qaeda in Iraq?

Why is this story always told as though Bush was the failure and his opponents are smart? It seems diametrically opposite to reality? Who is writing all this history anyway? Obama-Kool Aid Drinkers?

I am surrounded in my life by liberals with a few scattered conservatives in the mix. I, myself, was a vocal liberal until about 5 or 6 years ago. The subject that helped change my mind and forever made me addicted to politics was President George W. Bush. I decided to do my OWN research and listen to the opposition to better arm myself as a liberal. That backfired... I slowly started to realize that I wasn't seeing the world honestly. I am now proud of my beliefs and always try to keep an open mind on any political subject and stay well-informed.

It makes me nervous when people get stuck in a group-think mentality and vehemently defend their politics with half truths and liberal, undocumented talking points. Bush deserves a Nobel Peace prize for what he did for the African people. And yes, Bush did exercise enormous leadership and tremendous class as well.
