Which Playstation RPG is better, suikoden or wild arms?

I want to try a turnbased rpg and was wondering which of the two is better, longer, more things to do, etc. I do not really care which looks better. I have heard both are great, but which would you consider a better game or a better game for a beginner in turn based rpgs?

suikoden is the better of the two.

wild arms 1 was good but the sequals just got worse and worse, terrible storylines, bad controls, weak and uninteresting main characters, and i just stoped playing wild arms alltogeather. the games got bad rating everywhere.

the suikoden series, for the most part improved on every sequal.
1 was amazing
2 was and will always be the best suikoden ever. (make sure to play part 1 first)
3 was good
4 really needed some work but was enjoyable
4 tactics made 4 look very good becuase this game kinda sucked only for die hard fans
5 was great all around
and the new "terkeris" is a aimed at a younger audience.

other than the final fantasy series this is probably my second favorite rpg series hands down.
