so i want to go to college with a game designing major, and was looking at becker college.. the princeton review or whatever says its the #4 school for that major! I'm reading the major description: "The Game Design course curriculum offers a foundation of traditional drawing, illustration, and art courses in addition to courses in 2D and 3D animation, audio, storytelling, character development, and game technology. The Game Design student also develops skills in scriptwriting, computer programming, animation, project management and online media production. Students learn industry-related software such as: Gamemaker, Flash, Maya, and the complete suite of Adobe design software products.", and I'm wondering, are those listed software what i SHOULD be learning? like adobe design/flash? I've never heard of the other ones but I feel like video games are made with... other software? Would this be a good school? Anyone go there??
